Terms of Service

Effective 28 June 2026 · DRAFT — review before going live

1. The service

Ohmatic provides a hosted, proprietary electrical-rule-check (ERC) API and MCP that verify circuits you submit and return diagnostics and repair feedback, or a refusal. The ERC engine and rules are proprietary and are not distributed.

2. Accounts & keys

You access the service with an API key. Keep it secret; you are responsible for activity under your key. Don't share, resell, or attempt to extract the underlying rules, models, or implementation.

3. Acceptable use

4. Billing

Pricing is prepaid: a free trial, then you buy a balance of credits (in US dollars) and spend it down per use — a per-circuit activation fee plus a per-loop compute-based charge, as shown on the site. Credit purchases and subscriptions are billed by Polar as Merchant of Record; Polar's terms apply to the payment transaction. Credits already consumed are non-refundable except where required by law. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; unused credits roll over while your account is active.

5. Your content

Circuits you submit remain yours. We process them transiently to run the checks and do not retain them after the response (see the Privacy Policy). You grant us only the limited, temporary right needed to perform the verification you request.

6. No warranty; not engineering sign-off

The service is provided "as is". Passing ERC means a circuit is internally consistent, not that it is fit for any particular purpose. Ohmatic does not simulate behavior, select parts for an application, or replace professional engineering review. Validate every design with a qualified engineer before fabrication or production use.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ohmatic is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the prior three months. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service; you may stop using it at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. [Confirm venue/entity before launch.]
